Nuworld Amaranth Product... Some updates to the list:
Nuworld Amaranth Products went out of business.

Goldkist Chicken was bought up by Pilgrim's promise and is no longer kosher. (looks no longer corn-free either.)

Kirk's Coco Castile soap is corn free, 100% coconut oil. On their website, the vegetable glycerin is from coconut. Fragrance may contain corn, so fragrance-free version may be safer. sold at amazon. I've tried it and it seems fine to me.

Best Cooking Pulses Garbanzo/Chickpea flour is gluten-free and corn free. It's made in a dedicated canadian facility that does 100% pea (yellow, green) and chickpeas. All they make is ground pea flour and pea protein, there's no corn in the factory, so it should be corn-free. also sold at amazon, under best chickpea flour.

One person on the corn-free forums says they use this toothpaste safely: http://www.koshervitamins.com/shop/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?showpage=1&page_id=23&Item_ID=1314 It's supposed to be grain free.

Trader Joe's Dry Rubbed Bacon seems fine- had some today. (pork, salt, sugar, celery powder, spices)

Thanks for keeping this list! It's been incredibly helpful.Alierahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04310083084035947391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37487446.post-51887372499509732432012-09-11T12:08:11.460-05:002012-09-11T12:08:11.460-05:00I wanted to add two things about the dairy section...I wanted to add two things about the dairy section and then about the meat section. I recently found out that all daily products in the US are required to have 'active enzymes' in them - please make sure to read labels. If it says "Plant based enzymes" then its corn. Also, for milk, I would recommend only getting it directly from a dairy. Corn is used to bind Vitamins A and D to the milk cells.

For meats, I also was just told that all beef and bison carcasses, plus others including pigs and goats, are required by US Law to be sprayed or dipped in either lactic or citric acid. This applies to ALL meats - whether it's organic, grass fed, or standard meat. Some people may be able to tolerate meat, but I can't anymore because of these sprays (derived from corn) so I would recommend telling people this and having them contact a local farmer to work out a special situation for them.

Thanks!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37487446.post-84273442197249825142012-09-04T15:19:10.202-05:002012-09-04T15:19:10.202-05:00At the time Edward and Sons Rice crackers were add...At the time Edward and Sons Rice crackers were added, I don't think they had other flavors.
