Q-Tips

On our favorite forum, the company response to a corn inquiry verifies the use of corn in their Q-tip brand cotton swab products.

"The paper for the sticks uses an ethylated corn starch in the manufacturing process."

Those who are extremely skin reactive should use caution. If you are not contact reactive to corn, this product may or may not cause you problems depending on how you use them... just don't eat them.

Great blog! Do you know if there is a brand of cotton swabs that may be corn-free? I have been suspecting these simply because they are one of the last products we buy in the health and beauty section. I guess I just didn't ask because I knew what the answer would be. :(
