Kettle Chips - Removed

Kettle brand Chips unsalted and lightly salted varieties have been removed from the list due to multiple reported reactions. Their flavored varieties have been unsafe always, but now the remaining chips are being removed as well.

The source of the corn is unknown at this point, but with so many people reacting there is something corny in it.

Due to the multiple reported reactions, these products are likely to cause a reaction in almost everyone with a corn allergy.

It might be from the packaging - the inside of their bags is shiny and might be made from corn, that would be my guess. I've since stopped eating them too.

they are fried in corn oil. i checked, the 'oil' says safflower or corn oil, and they confirmed they are fried in corn oil.

Have you tried Trader Joes Kettle Chips? Potato, salt and olive oil. So far so good here

So this was posted in 2012 and I bought Kettle chips in 12/2023 and am having an allergic reaction....as if corn is in these chips (I'm allergic to corn). New to all this. The ingredients do not list corn but my body is reacting as if corn is used. Any updates on this?
