Since we all have different sensitivities, this should be considered a guide rather than a guarantee of corn-free status. This list is always changing as manufacturers are constantly changing their formulas. If you do have a reaction to any of these products, do let us know.

UNREAL Candies - Reactions
There's a post on UNREAL's facebook page in which Robyn O'Brien, the well-respected author of "The Unhealthy Truth", states that UNREAL is corn-free and safe for those with corn allergies.

As much as we like what she's doing with food and educating people about the dangers of the current food system, we do want to make sure that those with a corn allergy do not take her advice here.
UNREAL is corn-lite at best. It looks better than 99% of the candies out there which can be deceiving for people with a corn allergy. Their candy does still contain traces of corn, and is not safe enough for someone with a corn allergy.
Several people with corn allergies have tried their products and reacted. Please use caution with their products!

Project: Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips
One of our Facebook members had a discussion today with Joel Warady of Enjoy Life Foods about the corn in their Chocolate Chips.
As many of you know the "company line" on this product is that it is "corn-free". We made a post about this product being removed from our list due to numerous reactions to it. The company is denying any such reports.
If you have reacted to this product, PLEASE help us try to convince them..
1. it is NOT corn-free.
2. to make it corn-free.
Please send a polite email to Joel Warady, their Chief Marketing Officer, if you had a reaction to Enjoy Life. We would like to help him understand.
Please include:
1. When you had a reaction (approximate date if you don't remember exactly)
2. Why you think it's their chocolate chips.
3. If you've had any previous correspondence with Enjoy Life on this issue. Please include any details you still have.
* IMPORTANT: Please also make sure to include reference to this post, and @rose_w on Twitter *
Thank you everyone!
Also to help us keep track of how many have made submissions, please comment here if you've sent a letter to him, or leave a comment on this thread in our FB group.

Ghirardelli not corn-free chocolate
"Our vanilla is extracted from the bean with a corn alcohol."
This is a normal process of nearly all commercially or store-bought vanilla flavoring, and is why we encourage all corn allergic persons to make their own vanilla at home using vanilla beans and safe vodka.
Ghirardelli also mentions that their cocoa which should be corn-free per its ingredients, is processed on the same lines as corn-laden cocoa and thus may be unsafe.
As with everything, your mileage may vary, but Ghirardelli won't make our safelist.
