Hansen's Soda: Citric Acid derived from Corn

Hansen's Soda Cherry Vanilla Creme, 12-Ounce Cans (Pack of 24)Just in case anyone needed verification on this, a Hansen's company response posted on Delphi Forums states clearly:

"The citric acid is derived from corn hydrolysate as all citric acid is."

This would include all citric acid in any Hansen product.

Please take this as a reminder to avoid any products which list citric acid as an ingredient where the source of that citric acid has not been verified to be from something other than corn.

Hansen's

A company response posted on Delphi - Avoiding Corn confirms that the ascorbic acid and citric acids used in Hansen's products are derived from corn.

While juice was the initial inquiry in this instance, any Hansen's products with these ingredients should be considered unsafe. (which I think is all Hansen products)

According to Hansen's website, their products include:
Hansen's (several products which clearly state Hansen's on the label)
Blue Sky Sodas
Fizzit (vitamin & mineral drink)
Juice Slam boxes
Rumba
