Muir Glen - Citric acid from corn.

Muir Glen Organic Diced Tomatoes, Fire Roasted, 14.5-Ounce Cans (Pack of 12)
Just in case someone had any doubts. General Mills has confirmed that Muir Glen uses citric acid sourced from corn.

For a corn-free diet, please avoid all Muir Glen products with citric acid (which I think it all their products).

Oh my gosh. Is it common for citric acid to come from corn??? This would certainly shed some light on food reactions I've had to what I thought were "corn free" foods in the past...

Yes it's very common. I'd say a good 90% (maybe higher) of the citric acid is made from corn in US and probably everywhere else.
