Stretch Island Fruit Strips - removed again

I decided to add these back on the list in January due to a few people doing well on them, and a recent company inquiry which stated these to be corn-free.

However, it seems those with a sensitive allergy are reacting to these products. As such, I'm again removing these from the list.

If you're not very sensitive to corn derivatives, then these may still work for you, however I don't feel they're corn-free enough or safe enough to have on the list.

Stretch Island Fruit Strips

It seems Stretch Island Fruit strips may be corn-free again. According to an inquiry last fall, the products are corn-free per the company, and the natural flavors are parts of the fruits added back in.

I'll be tentatively adding these back to the list since I've several reports of people doing well on them. If you have reacted to these recently, do let me know asap.

Funky Monkey Fruit Snacks

Rumor has it that these snacks are not corn-free. So I wanted to post a caution here.

The Funky Monkey fruit snacks may look on paper (ie. ingredient list) to be corn-free, but a poster on Delphi Forums states that this product is packed using corn starch to keep it from sticking to the packaging.

If anyone has company verification, please use the comments here. Until then, use extreme caution with this product.

Traverse Bay Fruit Co. - Cherries

A inquiry (results posted on Delphi - Avoiding Corn) into the ingredients of these dried cherries has confirmed them to be corn-free.

The ingredients used to make these cherries are: beet sugar, cherries, and sunflower oil.

As of yet, these have not been human tested.

Mariani Dried Cherries

A company response posted on Delphi - Avoiding Corn confirms Mariani brand Dried Cherries to be corn-free.

The ingredients in the Mariani Dried Cherries is simply sugar and cherries. The company confirms that the sugar is from beets.
